I think this is why I haven’t come up with a new design for this site. Besides not having time.
While this site has purpose (a place for Jen and me to post our thoughts), it’s not really defined.
God has definately blessed us lately. It’s really do-or-die at work. We have a big meeting on Thursday. But Jen and I (okay, it was to me, but it’s ours) got a check in the mail for two grand!!! TWO GRAND!!! That’s a 2 with three 0 after it. For doing a website for an anniversary party! I can explain later. Just know that, if you think God doesn’t listen, here’s proof! We expected $200, maybe $300, $500 max. Nope, God provided 10x that!
Got a call from a friend that I haven’t heard from in a while. Go check out his new site and give him lots and lots of money (if you can).
Got another call from another friend while on the phone with the first friend. This one wanted to know my favorite movie because he quoted a line and bet another guy he couldn’t come up with it. Turns out neither could, but I helped them out. It’s Airborne, by the way.
Still getting random pings from our two images. Any help? It doesn’t really bother me in the sense that someone is stealing from me, since I have a ton of bandwidth (thank you Dreamhost). I just don’t like random people messing with pictures of my wife and kid.
Went to Elk City over the weekend. And Taco Factory. Taco Factory has the best fast-mexican-food ever! Seriously. Best. Ever. Dig it.

Invalidation For All!

You may or may not have noticed that my site no longer validates. You also may have noticed my little badge there under the “Meta” section. Yes, I am proud that my site does not validate. You can click the badge and find out why I did this. I also have another reason for invalidation: I wrote none of this code myself! It was all installed via dreamhost. Why should I be proud that my site validates when I had absolutely nothing to do with it?!
Another note, I got to hang out with a good friend yesterday. We only had about an hour before he had to go do some really geeky stuff. I’ll let him tell you about that.
I’ve started to write about 3 or 4 sentences that I ended up cutting off, realizing I was just droning. I’m tired. I think I’m going to cut out early and go hang with my wife and baby.

Business and heartache

Yeah, I’m still not very good and coming up with deep, introspective titles.I’ve got so much stuff to do and very little time to do it. I’ve got Philosophy homework (which sounds fairly interesting, but isn’t), two group projects due next week, presentations over those projects in the next week, I’m working off and on on 4 websites Stillwater-Weddings.com, HannahsChildren.com, CalebsCall.com, and our own. Will is wanting in on the wedding one. He came over the other night and we hammered out some pretty good ideas. I’m pretty excited about starting on them. Too bad he’s a chump and has to go home for the summer! HC.com and CC.com are coming along very slowly. I have to learn patUser (which I just printed off 9 pages of info and it’s only part one of 3 parts) in order for people to log in and get member benefits. But I think I’ll be able to use it for Stillwater-Weddings.com one day.
Had a busy but good weekend. I got to hang out with my favorite 5 year-old twins. Jen and I took Dallin and Gannon to CiCi’s and played video games and ate pizza before church. And kid’s church was crazy. We had like 6 kids that would NOT keep still! Actually Jen had most of them. I was with the older ones.
Arright. I’m off to make myself smarter. And check out Chris and Julie’s wedding page. It should be totally ready in a day or two.
