Sorry for the delay… Technical difficulties, you know. Yeah, right, like we could have technical difficulties. Actually, Hollow and EJ are becoming so popular, he hardly has time for us anymore.
In this show, we talk about everyone’s favorite social networking sites, and those that only “older” folks know about:
Here’s a NYTimes article that shows trends of VC’s and social networking sites and how they are tending to give more to sites that cater to “older people.”
The scandal that rocked the A/V world: PatriotsGate!!!
We here at RI also obtained a copy (through less-than-professional journalistic means) of the video the Pats were using to spy on the Jets. Here it is.
Pick ‘ems:
Dave: USC, UF, GaTech, Kentucky, Arkansas, and Michigan over ND 7-6 (w/ a blocked PAT).
EJ: USC, UF, GaTech, Louisville, Arkansas, Michigan over ND 3-2.
Chris: USC, UF, BC, Louisville, Arkansas, Michigan over ND 7-3.
Special Guest Correspondent Shelbi Hayes serves up some Hard-Hitting News: Airline Girl (aka Kyla Ebbert - No relation to Roger… or Siskel… or Roeper.) Here’s Ms. Ebbert on the Today Show. Oh, Lauer, you dirty, dirty man.
Sponsors: Pidgin; ProTools; Airlines, in general - keep it classy; words, specifically über, hyperbole, ether, and lexicon.
End up with Hollow’s “Remedy.” Download the entire song from Myspace.com/HollowRock.
Eds. Note: Pidgin’s website was incorrectly given in the podcast as pidgin.com. It is actually pidgin.im. Please follow the link above. My bad, dog. My bad.

THIS IS THE 100TH POST ON SOLID ROOTS!!! (just a sidenote)
Whooo!!! An hour long. I just couldn’t bring myself to cut out any more than I did. It was 1:30 unedited, so I cut out 1/3 of it. Okay, enough about you, onto the notes:
Apple.com and all their announcements: iPod, iPhone, iTunes, etc. (yes, I know the iPod and iTunes link are the same, but I’m a partial Type A…)
Sidenote: my iMac probably came out around 2000 but the “colored” line was first introduced circa 1998.
Fake Steve. We love you Fake Steve, thanks for the cash. Oh, and the iPods.

For the first time in Random Inspirations’ history, we’re releasing a never-before-released version of the published version of this podcast. Since adding a co-host and a regular guest, the time of the podcast went from 7:30 to over 106 mins. I got the official version down to just over 40 mins (all good stuff), but I wanted you to be able to hear the entire thing (mostly) unedited - if you have 106 mins to spare. You can download the full version here.
College football. Click here for your favorite team. This is the coolest schedule I’ve ever seen.
Miss Teen USA South Carolina. Enough said. Just listen.
